Pentewan Old Cornwall Society Meetings Restart
Following the publication of the roadmap out of Covid 19 restrictions, and in line with most organisations and Old Cornwall Societies, Pentewan society, after a break of eighteen months, are recommencing indoor meetings on Monday 20th September 2021. Meetings will be held in Pentewan village hall starting at 7.30pm. On Monday 20th September 2021 there will be an Annual General Meeting. Following, there will be an illustrated presentation by Maureen Prettyman entitled “The Prettyman Family – Master Mariners”. Accordance with guidelines hand sanitising will be available at the door and masks may be worn if you feel comfortable with this precaution. We look forward to welcoming former members, new members and anyone who has an interest in the history and heritage of Cornwall. Yearly Subscription is £6. Monday February 21st2022 “The North Cornwall Flood 1847” by Andrew Langdon.
Monday March 21st2022 “The History of Hayle” by Trevor Smitheram.
Monday April 25th2022 “Flora of Cornwall” by Ian Bennallack.
